Major Stars – “Wrapped Up In Circles”

Another burner out of the new album from Major Stars. The East Coast luminaries don’t lose a step on their twelfth album, still slinging singe better than most of their peers. The record expands the songwriting team, with Wayne Rogers joined by Tom Leonard and Noell Dorsey, making the new record a real family affair. “Wrapped up in Circles” builds on the band’s burn, scraping out the creosote-coated riffs and stacking them into a tower of turbulence. Dorsey’s vocals soar over the top of the tumult, an anthemic call over the clamor. The band’s new record, More Colors of Sound, is out October 24th from Drag City.
