Glyders – “Moon Eyes”
Some of the best moments on Glyders last record found them turning down the fuzz and rumble for a richness that embraced country’s sweet caress. They return to the fold with “Moon Eyes,” the second single from their upcoming new album, Forever. Sweetly stung and hammock slung, the new single lets strum take the forefront, shaking away the exhausts fumes of first single “Stone Shadow.” The band feels decidedly in their element on the new single; rumpled but comfortable, letting honeyed harmonies tangle with the campfire smoke and sunset hues. Paired with a saturated, woodsy new video directed, filmed and edited by Sean Pierce and Karen Schmitz, the new single shines as a high point of the week. The new record, Forever, is out November 21st from Drag City.
