Edena Gardens – “Fills The Well”

Another one I was excited to see slip out last week, with longtime faves Edena Gardens announcing a new album for El Paraiso this fall. The band completed a trio of albums for the label and followed it with a live album that proved them to be stunners on stage as well as the studio. The band picks up right where Dens left off, turning their wandering guitar explorations towards darker hills. Drenched in a dose of anguish the first taste of the album, “Fills The Well” finds the guitar from Nicklas Sørensen (Papir) singeing the edges of the speakers, welled up with an angst that seems suitable to our current environments. Rounded out with members of Causa Sui and London Odense Ensemble, Edena Gardens always brings the best from the El Paraiso stable. The new album, Dispossessed, is out August 22nd from El Paraiso.
