The world’s treated to another sunswept treasure out of Curation Records this week with the arrival of the second single off Cruise Control sophomore LP. Breezier than the first taste, “So Long Carolina” tempers the twang for a country folk strummer that’s wistful and wondrous. The first single was caught on hooks and driving guitars, but here the band lets themselves get lost in the glare, a gauzy vision of Americana that’s caught in the clouds. The new album, Time is an Angel, is out September 12th from Curation.
