Cruise Control – “Like A Bell”

I’m always excited for something new out of the Curation camp, and their latest hits like a ray of sun. “Like A Bell” bumps the fidelity from the band’s debut, still tied up in a nice toast of twang, but letting a lush lacing of pop push to the front. The song swings in on breezy jangles, an easy strummer that opens up in the mid-section as layered harmonies elevate it beyond your average country rambler. The song captures a golden hour glow, lightening your load one note at a time. The single opens up the band’s upcoming new album, Time Is An Angel, out September 21st from Curation Records.
