Circles Around The Sun – “Charleston Choogle”

Good news from the Circles Around The Sun camp! The band celebrates both their origins, and the 60th anniversary of The Dead with a callback to their early days when they assembled to provide interludes for the 50th Anniversary of the band. Ten years on, Interludes For The Dead is still a vital piece of history, and the spark that would ignite the band’s career. The follow-up returns the CATS to their roots, and they offer up a preview of music that will serve as set break soundtrack for the upcoming Grateful Dead 60 shows at Golden Gate State Park this weekend. CATS has long since transcended their impetus as a one-off whim, but it’s great to see them return to where it all began. Interludes for the Dead: Volume 2 is set to arrive on November 7th.
