Spencer Cullum’s Coin Collection – “Look At The Moon (feat. Erin Rae)”

Another excellently cloistered single from Spencer Cullum wraps around the listener like a warm blanket. The new single features fellow Nashville alum Erin Rae on vocals, sparring softly spun phrases over the course of the song’s cottony comforts. Less lured by the Anglican aura than “Rowan Tree,” the new single simmers in country’s sway, with a bit of tension foaming in the guitars and steel. Ultimately, it settles into a beautiful shade of country-folk. The song manages to melt away any worries in the heat of its welcoming glow, which is some feat these days. The new single sits nicely among the works on Cullum’s new album, Spencer Cullum’s Coin Collection 3, out March 27th from Full Time Hobby.
