Natural Information Society – “Perseverance Flow, Jump Rope Edit”

Must be slipping these days, because this one eluded me last week No matter when the news reaches you, though, it bodes well for 2025 to have a second helping of Natural Information Society on the dock. With an indispensable collaboration with Bitchhin Bajas already out in the world, the band cues up a record on their own, following a string of compilations (Meditation, Momentum, and Manifestation) for New Soil that bring them into the streaming sphere. The new record finds them back home at Eremite, offering up a 37 min through-composed piece centering around their central quartet of Joshua Abrams, Lisa Alvarado, Mikel Patrick Avery & Jason Stein. The piece was recorded one afternoon at Electrical Audio. The band offers up just a taste of that nearly forty minute flow for those looking to enter into their nexus. The “Jump Rope Edit” gives just a short entry into the band’s hypnotic pulse, finding the Society heavy on rhythm, hooking the listener into the whirlpool in just the few minutes available. The full album, Perseverance Flow, will be out October 24th from Eremite.
