Another great new single sneaks out from the upcoming Yea-Ming and The Rumours. With a low-slung twang that rolls in like clouds on the horizon, “Somebody’s Daughter” adds a few more shades to the band’s indie pop palette. Balancing the line between country and girl-group-gone-indie-pop that recalls heavy hitters from Veronica Falls on through newer contemporaries like Parsnip, it offers up a deeper look into the band’s upcoming LP. The song is a highlight on The Rumours’ upcoming new album I Can’t Have It All, which finds its way out May 24th from Dandy Boy Records.
