Golomb – “Be Here Now (Feels So Good) – Sonic Boom Remix”

Another favorite new band expands the bounds of their last album. This time it’s Midwest faves Golomb digging out a collection of remixes, alternate takes, and unreleased gems. The band’s debut was a year-ender around here in 2025 and they let loose a tight treasure trove of new and altered gems in its wake this week. The new EP features remixes from Sonic Boom and Wishy, a drop-in from Laraaji, and alternate takes that give new depth to some of their best album tracks. Plus, there’s a new track, “Morning Noon or Night” in the mix as well. The band’s been a favorite around here even before their album hit, but The Beat Goes On surpassed all expectations. Check out a remix of “Be Here Now” by Sonic Boom, turning the band’s rankled Modest Mouse-esque original into a cavernous psych-pop gem.
