Clove – “Intro”

A lovely new single from Aussies Clove lands this week, is wrapped in pastoral wonder. As the name implies, “Intro” kicks off a planned run of singles and gives a good introduction to the band’s verdant folk. Featuring members of RSTB faves The Bures Band, the song shares some similarities with the group’s ‘70s aesthetics, nodding to some of the same Canyon folk and layered harmonies that have made BB a staple around here. The cool water flutes and easy sway also bring to mind Babe Rainbow, who Clove have shared stages with in the past. “Intro” gets swept up in Spring breezes, an easy favorite that’s already spent a lot of time on the speakers. Can’t wait to see what the band has in store. The new single is out now on streaming platforms.
