Word of a new album from RSTB faves Wax Machine comes down today. The band’s Lau Ro has incorporated shades of his Brazilian heritage into the band’s works before, but new single “Glimmers” might be the most overt exploration of Tropicália that Wax Machine has embarked on yet. While the band’s new album, The Sky Unfurls, The Dance Goes On, indulges once again in the group’s exploration of humid, aqueous psychedelia, “Glimmers” sways on beach-side strums and the light percolation of percussion. It’s a perfect summer single that follows the sun down to the horizon. The band’s latest finds them once again on Batov, with the new album arriving on shelves November 3rd.
