Busy week for ex-members of Seattle’s Math & Physics Club. After the announcement of a debut LP from his former bandmates as Model Shop yesterday, Charles Bert announces a new LP from his solo project Field School. This one’s a top jangler. Bright and bubbling with sunshine, Bert embraces indie pop with a natural ease. The guitars ring out against brilliant blue skies while a crumple of drums and bells skip along in the background. The new LP, quite appropriately titled When Summer Comes, is out November 18th from Bobo Integral.
