Drag City Reissues first three Ghost LPs on vinyl in 2024

Some excellent news down the pike from Drag City today as the label announces that long out of print early albums from Ghost are coming back to shelves in early 2024. In the early ‘90s (between ’90 and ’94) the first two albums from Ghost were issued by beloved Japanese label PSF, along with a live album that served to give more context to the band’s psychedelic sway. Those albums were then reissued by Drag city in 1997, giving US access to the band’s eponymous debut, Second Time Around, and Temple Stone. Those three albums have now entered hallowed ground, and have been pretty hard to track down on LP for years now. Come February, the label will issue LP editions of all three in their original colorways. One of the originators of the new wave of psych-folk, the band’s catalog remains a pristine vault of lyrseric gems. It’s highly recommend that you jump on them before they disappear again.
