Crayola Eyes – “Spectrum (for Sonic Boom)”

Indonesian band Crayola Eyes are hitting that psychedelic sweet spot that’s reserved for Spacemen 3, Loop, and early Black Angels. The band’s debut is out now and stirring up a hazed hurricane in their homeland. Crayola Eyes aren’t shy about their love for the Spacemen and the appropriately named “Spectrum (for Sonic Boom)” goes in heavy on the reverberated homage. The band pulls off the rhythmic shake, glazed aesthetics, and detached debauchery with ease. The new album, Gushing, is packed full of smoke plumes and psych-pop sweat. Out now on La Munai Records.
