Alien Eyelid – “Where Elgin Bends”

Second single out of the upcoming Alien Eyelid LP today and it finds the Houston band pondering the shifting sands of time, wandering around the city and the cerebellum looking for familiar markers and the comforts of the past. With a country lilt and an indie heart, the band pair strums and slides with just a touch of twang into a song that reaches out, grasping for ennui only to find it disappear into a haze of heartache. The band’s new album, Bronze Star, is out May 5th from Tall Texan.
