Dandy Boy offered up a first peek into their tribute to Cleaners From Venus, the soft sighs of Yea-Ming and The Gloomers taking on “Night Starvation.” Now, the label adds one more stellar take, this time having RSTB faves Whitney’s Playland step into the spotlight with their cover of “Corridor of Dreams.” The band turns the spare original into a lush, hazy garden of strums, sighs, keys and coos, highlighting the Cleaners’ songwriting charms away from their often brittle aesthetics. The new compilation, Tales of a Kitchen Porter, is out September 27th from Dandy Boy.
