Those Pretty Wrongs – “Always The Rainbow”

The second single slips out this week from the upcoming new album Holiday Camp from RSTB faves Those Pretty Wrongs. “Always The Rainbow” captures the album’s sense of clouded past — watercolor memories that blur and bleed into one another, their smudged hues fading behind the strums and threads of synth. Over the years Jody Stephens (Big Star) and Luther Russell have found a richly textured symbiosis between their voices, tinged with melancholy, but laced with hope as well. That magic is on full display throughout “Always The Rainbow.” The new album features contributions from Mitch Easter, Christ Stamey, and Pat Sansone, landing on Curation Records February 10th.
