Parisian Night Suit – “Droplets”
The excellently named Parisian Night Suit unveils a video for his first single on Six Tonnes De Chair. The band is a solo jaunt from Jeroen Reek of Iguana Death Cult. Inspired by some time spent with a borrowed Rhodes and a few seeds of songs that didn’t seem to fit with the IDC aesthetic, Reek began to work on the alter ego as a way to explore themes of rock bottom ribaldry and coming to terms with one’s own misery. With an air of City Pop and a head full of Bryan Ferry, Parisian Night Suit began to take shape. The A-side, “Droplets,” is bolstered here with a VHS veneer over its mime-center video directed by hache.mov. The single is out April 7th.
