Thrilled to see The Laughing Chimes announcing new EP on Slumberland. The Ohio young’uns released an excellent album last year on Pretty Olivia and this new short form follow-up captures the same spirit. The band’s strengths come ringing through the strings on the first taste of the new EP. “Ice Cream Skies” lets the guitars chime with abandon balancing their bright light ripple with an underlying growl of fuzz that thickens up the sound. The Zoo Avenue EP is out on digital and cassette November 18th.
