Meritorio pick up Paisley Shirt mainstay and labelhead Kevin Linn’s SF janglers Sad Eyed Beatniks for a new album on the way this Summer. The first single, “You Belong With Us,” is draped in a muted ennui, a feeling of life’s expectations dragging you down. The record features members of Tony Jay, Cindy, and Flowertown, but it dips away from some of the more shrouded corners of the current SF scene. The single hangs heavy, but lofts the listener towards the sun. The new album, Ten Brocades, is out July 12th from Meritorio.
