Parker Sprout – “Milk in the Sun”

Haven’t heard the name Parker Sprout in a little bit, but the Velvet Davenport LP that Moon Glyph Put out a little over a decade ago still makes its way to the turntable around here. Sprout has returned home to the Glyph for a solo LP and the title track makes its way out today. Still infested with jangles and running a psych-pop fever, Sprout’s songwriting always has a private press quality to it and that same thrift-store psych finds its way into “Milk in the Sun.” Check out the blurred and baked video now and get the album on your radar for the end of the month. It arrives January 28th.
