Mountain Movers – “The Sun Is Coming Up”

RSTB favorites Mountain Movers are back with a new track this week as part of an excellent new compilation whose proceeds will go to the Gaza Soup Kitchen. An overcast cut that feels like it would fit in nicely with their last album, Walking After Dark, it finds the band at their most pensive. The Northeast outfit are always a delight on the speakers and they’re found alongside quite a few other familiar names on the comp, put together by Half A Million Records. Other artists include Nowhere Flower, The Heavy Lidders, Parishi, Chuck Johnson, and Pat Murano & Wednesday Knudsen, among others. The comp is out now with all proceeds benefiting the Soup Kitchen.
