Another gorgeously hazy single from the upcoming Meg Baird record lands today. After a bit of a solo hiatus, the Espers and Heron Oblivion songwriter is back with her own name on the marquee. “Star Hill Song” finds her collaborating with Heron Oblivion’s Charlie Saufley, and the pair have wrought a comfortable, afternoon wind-down that’s reflected in the gauzy hues of the accompanying video. Those sauntered strums, the sighs packed into the vocals — this is just the thing to set a day parched of color and warmth aglow again. The new record, Furling, is out January 27th from Drag City.
