GospelbeacH – “It’s Too Late”

A brand new single from GospelbeacH snuck out via the always excellent Heads Lifestyle yesterday and its a nicely weatherbeaten slice of power pop. Featuring members of the curation stable, GB constant Trevor Beld Jiminez and Luther Russell (Those Pretty Wrongs), the song soars on a piano led lament for love gone wrong. A touch of Badfinger with a chaser of Rundgren and a splash of Shoes makes the mix, but at its core this is GospelbeacH’s Brent Rademaker at his most tender. As the band has emerged from their post-Beachwood Americana they’ve found their footing in ballads, spinning sadness into songs that beg to be on the speakers again and again.
