Echolalia – “Blood Moon”

Just last week I highlighted the first single that slipped out from Nashville outfit Echolalia, a cut I’d missed in the chaos of the year-end bluster. Now the band returns with “Blood Moon,” an appropriately calm moment on their upcoming eponymous album. Given distance from the din of December, “Blood Moon” floats in on plaintive piano and yearning guitars. It’s a tender ballad that fills the listener with warmth and wonder. Featuring RSTB fave Spencer Cullum alongside a packed roster of other Nashville studio heads, the new record is creeping up my anticipated albums list for 2025. The single appears on the new album Echolalia, out February 28th from Full Time Hobby.
