Düül Suns – “Lying Eyes”

NYC’s newly minted psych stingers Düül Suns return with a second single, jumping back into the fire quickly after “Jealousy” hit just a few weeks ago. The band’s ice-packed guitars remain, opening up the song before the band weaves through Floyd shadows into the slippery ends of prog; paring propulsion, organ, and fuzz into a new single that slinks through the headphones. “Lying Eyes” is paired with a nocturnal video, draped in the glare and grit that feel appropriate for the band’s mercurial psychedelia. The song builds until it burns with kerosene heat on the second half, wrapping coils of bass around a tumultuous solo. The new single is out now!
