Ah, been a while since Dag was on the scene but the Aussies are back with a new jangler that’s understated and pulling at the right heartstrings on their new single “Point of You.” The song digs into the motions of banality with a heavy sigh, wrapping Dusty Anastassiou’s delivery in a slowly corroding sway that burns away like a photo in the fire, memories tossed like ash in the wind. The band keeps things cut close, letting the feedback floor gently caress the easy strums for just a bit of shading. The band’s sophomore LP, Pedestrian Life is out June 18th from Bedroom Suck.
