Chime School – “The End”

Got a couple more singles that surfaced while I was out, including another jangled gem form the upcoming Chime School LP. The band leans into the classic caress of Sarah and Subway, feeling every bit a band out of time. Like contemporaries The Reds, Pinks and Purples, Chime School crafts songs that feel like they may have always been there for you, existing in the ether and waiting to be discovered at just the right moment. A cat-centric video accompanies “The End” giving it an added dose of comfort, though with warm atmospheres and those ringing guitars, it’s hard to see how this one could get any more cozy. The new album, The Boy Who Ran The Paisley Hotel, is out August 23rd from Slumberland Records.
