More goodness out of Sophomore Lounge this week with a new single and album on the way from Styrofoam Winos. The Winos bring together a trio of favorites — Lou Turner, Trevor Nikrant, Joe Kenkel — all solo stunners in their own right, but together they cross the streams of country, college rock, Americana, and indie until something begins to simmer. The band’s first single from the upcoming Real Time, brings the swing and singe. On “Don’t Mind Me,” the band slips a dose of twang into their indie roots, bringing their Nashville ties to light and setting the stage for one of their most affecting outings yet. The new record is out September 27th from Sophomore Lounge.
