Vintage Crop – “Double Slants”

Too many great things rising out of the South Hemi this week and the latest is a scratch n’ dent dinger from Vintage Crop. The band’s post-punk tension has long driven their sound and the feeling that it might all pull apart at the tendons is in full effect through every muscular riff on “Double Slants.” If any band has taken up the slack in Eddy Current’s downtime, it might be Vintage Crop. The new album, Kibitzer, is out on June 24th via their dual homes at Anti-Fade and Upset The Rhythm, and if you’re here in the states Feel It has the LP available domestically.
