Tossing Seed – “Bootleg Charm”

The A-side of this one snuck out a few weeks ago and it’s been nothing but anticipation until the full single hit. The wait’s been worth it as Indonesian jangle-poppers Tossing Seed prove one of the best new groups to keep an eye on. “Bootleg Charm” is tied up in jangles, awash in fuzz, and set alight with some sweet harmonies. The song percolates on percussion and soaks in the sun. It’s the kind of big, blistered pop that sent the ‘90s spinning. Landing somewhere between The Primitives, Heavenly, and Velocity Girl, the song is a sweet pairing with the previously released “Stars in Your Eyes.” The new single is out now from Precious Recordings of London.
