The Bures Band – Live at Button Pusher Studios

One of the best new bands to come along in the past couple of years has been Aussie enclave The Bures Band. Combining the sun-soaked interplay of The Byrds with the most melodic ends of the early Cosmic American spectrum (think Help Yourself, Sand, Taos, Starry Eyed and Laughing) the band has brought plenty of cool breeze to even the hottest days of 2024. Over two albums, the band has consistently layered harmonies and hooks, making them an obvious, though overlooked, choice for those looking to get a dose of ‘70s ramble. Until now, if you weren’t on home turf, it’s been hard to see the band live, but a new live studio session at Button Pusher Studio gives those of us abroad a chance to experience the band in their element. The new album Fool Circle is out now, and this is a great introduction to the band’s easy sway.
