Sonny & the Sunsets – “Pink Cake”

Smith continues to dig into a sound that’s timeless and true — a feeling of nostalgia washed clean in the morning rain. The song strums into view on a loose acoustic cascade before Sonny sinks into a slightly askew delivery, leaning into bright, wobbly harmonies that fit cozy like a favorite sweater.
