Object Hours – “Yellow House”

Three Lobed doubles down on their excellent start to the year, following up a new record from perennial faves Wet Tuna with the debut from North Carolina’s Object Hours. The band has been local faves around their Carrboro home and now the group, featuring members of Solar Halos, Work Clothes, and Les Savy Fav, unleashes the fully formed vision on the wider public. The first single sets their tone, a trio built around the pulsing rhythms of drummer Harrison Haynes, and stretching to infinite lengths with the double guitar vortex of Nora Rogers and Jenny Waters. “Yellow House” locks into the band’s heady hypnotism, a cocoon of rhythm and reverberation that’s hard to shake. The new album, Solved By Walking, is out April 24th from Three Lobed. Highly Recommend!
