Julianna Riolino – “On A Bluebird’s Wing”

Real excited to see new music and an album on the way from RSTB fave Julianna Riolino this morning. The songwriter might be most familiar in her role with Daniel Romano’s Outfit, where she’d often serve as a venerable foil to Romano’s vocals. Though, you should know her from her incredible last album, All Blue, which brought her talents further into the sun in 2022. Like the last, the new record promises a mix of country and r&b-wrapped rock that tips its hat to ‘70s Muscle Shoals. The new single keeps the aura big and boisterous, swaddling Riolino’s hooks in rafter-raising harmonies, organ swells, and a twang-toned solo from Sean Thompson. The song’s an open road ripper paired perfect with Summer winds. The new album, Echo in the Dust is out October 24th from Julianna’s new imprint Moonwhistle Records.
