Don Glori – “Dlareme”
by Andy
The latest single from Melbourne’s Don Glori skirts the lines between Brazilian funk and soul-jazz, tumbling headlong through its paces with a constant sense of motion. Driven by skittering drums and stratospheric flutes, the song has an incredible sense of joy to it, bursting at the braces and inciting a sense of dance — if not externally, at least in the mind. Glori wrote the song as a song of friendship and human connection and it’s easy to feel those themes through the rippling congas and vocal harmonies that float above Glori’s pulsing bass. His new album, Welcome, is out October 14th from Bedroom Suck.
