In the lead up to a EU/UK tour, RSTB favorite Charles Moothart breaks ranks with his fuzzed brethren for a soft and sweetly dreamed bout of pop. “The Path (I’d Like To Follow)” dips through the delirium of Bolan’s early years, adds a twist of twang, and ties a perfumed bow on the whole thing. Floating far from the tar pit tangle that he’s so often wading through, the song sits nicely among a few other new cuts on the eclectic EP, Chaotic Shimmer. The EP is out March 14th from In The Red and if you’re strung between England and France, Moothart’s on his way starting 3/20.
