Triptides – “Another Age”

Never flagging in their dedication to the psychedelic arts, longtime faves Triptides follow up both an album and accompanying EP from last year with a steady stream of singles in the beginning of 2026. A second stunner of the year arrived at the end of last week, the comedown caress of “Another Age.” The band has cooled their ‘60s swirl for the lacquered leather of the ‘70s over the past few years, and they continue to carve into the post-paisley years on the new singles. With an Apple Records stateliness, the cut comes in crisp, feeling un-fussed on a bed of piano and just a quick dose of quiver in the chorus, leaving that psych hangover cleanly in tact. The new single is out now from Label 51 Recordings, with teases towards a new album on the way.
