Another lovely jangler heralds the new album from Touch Girl Apple Blossom today. The Austin band embraces the homespun side of the indie pop spectrum, bringing tape-worn aesthetics and bedroom confessionals to the forefront on their new album, Graceful. The second single from the album, “Vacation,” opens up to the listener like a diary entry. Under a light blanket of hiss, they unfold a sweetly-slung, if slightly crushing tale of heartbreak and self-doubt. The band sighs their way into Graceful this Spring, releasing the new album, May 15th on Perennial Death and K Records.
