The Tubs – “Chain Reaction”

More music out of The Tubs this week and I couldn’t be happier to have a song on the speakers. “Chain Reaction” finds the band at their most boisterous, pounding through breathless frets and piano keys with a wild-eyed energy that draws the listener into their ode to self-destruction and deception. The pub crawl video matches the song’s gale force grace, smearing the the screen with the same kind of hazy mania that informs the song. The band’s last album was a fixture around here and the new one shows no signs of anything less than being stuck to the stereo for the better part of the year. The new album, Cotton Crown, is out March 7th from Trouble In Mind.
