More great singles continue to careen ever so quietly out of the new Smashing Times album. The band pairs up their latest tumble through the runout reverie of Television Personalities, Jacobites, and Julian Cope with a homespun video that feels indicative of the band’s Paisley Pop gone pastoral aesthetic. Despite their Baltimore postmark, the band feels embedded in the English ‘80s, crafting lost singles that might be collecting dust somewhere in a London charity shop window. The new record, This Sporting Life, is out November 3rd from Perennial Death.
