The Green Child – “Wow Factor”

Aussie favorites The Green Child announce a new album today, along with news that the band has expanded from a duo to a four-piece. Joining Raven and Mikey, Alex Macfarlane and Shaun Gionis fill out the sound on synth/guitar and drums respectively. The first single finds the band still in the throes of synth pop but with a much fuller sound this time around, creeping away from the more austere post-punk that scratched their debut. “Wow Factor” melds chiming guitars with MacFarlane’s synths, bubbling up some of the band’s most captivating moments yet. The new record, Look Familiar, is out Nov 15th through Upset The Rhythm and Hobbies Galore.
