The Cosmic Tones Research Trio – “Nada Brahma”

The first single from the excellent debut by The Cosmic Tones Research Trio focused on the band’s spiritual jazz strains. They follow it with a cut that casts light on their more meditative side, a cello-forward piece that takes a page from Indian classical music. “Nada Brahma” centers the listener, a call to slow down and sink deep within. The song rises like the sun, casting long beams of light around the room as it plays. It’s a great way to get into things today and an even better reason to check into the band’s upcoming debut All Is Sound, out November 1st from Mississippi Records.
