Taste – “In Style”

A fuzz nugget from the West wafts in on crumpled winds, bearing news of a new solo project from familiar face, Oli Lipton (Now, Cindy). Braiding the frayed ends of Kelley Stoltz and Nikki Sudden, the new single stomps the pedals and tosses garage riffs into the New Wave oven, tumbling out a toasted bit of hip-slung havoc. The record came together cutting and pasting portions of Lipton’s previously released cassettes; a bouquet of best-ofs, a bounty of buzzing pop gems that form Taste’s debut, 1/2 Fantasy. The record is out May 29th from Tough Love.
