SiP – “Glowworms”

“Glowworms” epitomizes the tone of SiP’s new album Leos Ultras — an album full of glowing, playful, slippery kosmiche that’s stripped of its often sterile atmosphere. Combining synths with a wider array of instruments this time (clarinet, melodica, sax, flute, tambourine, and drumbox), the band’s Jimmy Lacy crafted his sophomore album over years in a warehouse incubator, unleashing the works into the sun this year to play among the shadows and soak in the sun. The new single burbles its way through the speakers, rippling on rhythm and working its way towards a euphoric dance. The new album, Leos Ultras, is out November 1st from Not Not Fun.
