Rattle – “Ritual”

Another haunting single from the new Rattle slips out today. The band follows on their ambitious 15+ minute first single with a bit shorter peek into the album. Though, it’s no less aloft on the duo’s sparse aesthetic. Atop the slow tumble of drums, Katharine Eira Brown and Theresa Wrigley entwine their voices in spectral hues. The cut is ceremonial, funereal, a vision of long lost folk tales brought back from the abyss. Its the kind of song that earns the title “Ritual.” The new single sits alongside “Your Move” on the band’s upcoming album Encircle, out February 28th from Upset The Rhythm.
