Lupo Città – “Can’t See”

A second LP from Boston’s Lupo Città crashes the gates with an acerbic growl. The band’s first was corroded with a post-grunge grit and they retain the rusted presence on their sophomore LP, but there’s also a hunger that’s grown in the intervening years. First single “Can’t See” churns uneasy waters, riding frothy riffs and an ironclad beat. The band whispers from the shadows, circling the listener in tightening paces until the song seethes towards its final moments. The band features Chris Brokaw (Codeine, Come) alongside Bleeding Hickey’s members Jenn Gori and Sarah Black. Their new album, Inverno, is out April 24th from 12xU.
