Freeman Dejongh – “Iowa”

Curation slips out a single today from Freeman Dejongh. He follows up last year’s LP with the twang and wanderlust of “Iowa.” Dejongh’s pedal steel seeps a bit of late afternoon sun into the mix, just dipping out of view as the streetlight leer of the track rises out of the dust. The song adopts a galloping rhythm that’s subsumed by the flash of stage-cured guitars by the time the song comes crashing to its amphetamine close. The new single is out now from Curation.
