Excited to see a second single on deck from Frank Hurricane’s new one. Frank tees one up for the folks over at Nudie Records and both singles have found the people’s troubadour in fine form. With Jon ‘Catfish’ Delorme on pedal steel, “Roadside Traveler Blues” brings the road to life, a white line blur of country-curdled blues that dips over the horizon with the kind of ease that only Frank can rustle up. Hurricane’s a conjurer of characters, and he paints his portraits in road dust, wheat paste, and wheel-well rust.
